FAQ

About the examination

A gynecological examination at our clinic in Stockhlm is performed by some of the most experienced gynecologists in the field, with particular expertise in hormones and menopause.

The examination includes a review of your medical history, a physical examination, and where relevant, additional tests such as ultrasound.

The appointment usually takes 30–45 minutes, giving you enough time to discuss your symptoms, concerns and health goals with your doctor.

No extensive preparation is needed before your appointment. It is helpful to note down any symptoms you have been experiencing, including their frequency and duration, as well as any medications or supplements you are currently taking.

If you have previous test results or medical records relevant to your gynaecological health, bring these along if possible.

Any findings from your examination will be discussed with you during or immediately after your appointment. If additional tests such as blood samples or biopsies are taken, results are typically available within a few days and will be reviewed with you in a follow-up consultation.

If anything requires further investigation or treatment, your doctor will guide you through the recommended next steps and ensure you feel informed and supported throughout the process.
